ACID: Making Music
ACID Music Studio is a highly graphical program that can be used on many levels. Nonlinear editors can use it for scoring video, drawing on the enormous talent of the loop creators and assemble a musical composition simply by painting loops on the Timeline. Musicians can augment existing loops by recording their own loops or by using ACID as you would any recording software to create entire tracks that don’t loop.
Loops, One-Shots, and Beatmaps
ACID maintains properties in the metadata of a wave file that tells it how to interpret that wave when it is brought into ACID. The process of adding this metadata as known as ACIDization or to ACIDize. ACIDized files can be Loops, one-shots, or beatmaps.
