It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Transfer Function
Abstract
This chapter introduces the transfer function and the Laplace transform with examples of its derivation and use with commonly encountered control system elements and control systems. The sensitivity of systems to changes in parameters and disturbances is also discussed. Block manipulation is also discussed for systems with many elements.
