Epilogue

If you are not training and developing the leaders’ skill set, they can’t succeed. I don’t believe that an organization can truly succeed at living its values (e.g., integrity, respect, teamwork, quality) without investing in developing the necessary leadership competencies. If organizations believe it’s important to provide employees with the tools to be successful at their jobs, the tools they should provide to leaders are leadership competencies.
