Up till now, we’ve been looking at how to integrate Macs into Windows networks built around servers running Windows Server—perhaps just one of the beasts, perhaps a whole ravening pack of them that you keep firmly locked in a darkened room.

But you may also need to integrate Macs into small Windows networks—ones that don’t use a server but instead have a peer-to-peer arrangement in which various computers provide services to other computers as needed.
