Abstract

As automation technologies advance, life becomes more straightforward and convenient to use. Due to fast advancements in the realm of automation, human existence is becoming more advanced and superior in every way. The Internet has been ingrained in daily life as its user base has exploded in the last decade, and the Internet of Things (IoT) is the most cutting-edge and rapidly growing Internet technology. Internet of things like sensors and actuators, computing devices, mechanical gear, and people are all connected via the Internet, which is quickly becoming a major part of the internet. The IoT is a critical component of human life because it is a rapidly developing network of ordinary devices ranging from industrial robots to consumer electronics that can share data and perform tasks automatically. A smart city leverages data and technology to improve efficiency and the quality of life for its residents. Determinants of quality of life, such as living expenses, security, time management, job opportunities, and connectivity, have the potential to improve by 10% to 30% as a result of smart city technologies.
