Direction-Coordinating Based Ant Colony Algorithm and its Application in Distribution Network Reconfiguration
Abstract
This chapter presents a type of ant colony algorithm based on direction coordination that aims to strengthen the pheromone on the trail by defining the pheromone of a new direction. This will improve the convergence speed of the algorithm to enhance the wholeness of solutions, apply the improved algorithm into the reconstruction of the distribution network, put forward the updating method of corresponding directional pheromone and ordinary pheromone, and provide a corresponding strategy of trails’ selection that gives an effective solution for the reconstruction of the distribution network.
