9.1 Introduction

Data analytics (DA) is a technique where a data set is examined to extract a decision depending upon the contained information using a specialized system, software, and tools. Similarly, in space technology, a huge amount of terrestrial data has to be collected using various techniques and technologies. Primarily, the data contains a huge amount of earth data and space observation data that are basically collected using various spaceborne sensors. These collected data are combined in reference with data from other sources. More likely, a new broad area is coming up with sharp scope of challenges and breakthroughs: computational sensor vis-a-vis space sensor networks that can cover the whole electromagnetic spectrum, such as radio and gamma waves and the gravitational quantum principle.
