This paper presents a new manufacturing strategy selection method. The idea is to regard a manufacturing decision making problem as a “Game” in a Game Theoretic sense, focus on causal relations between the different players in the Game and then use Dynamic Causal Mining(DCM) to extract their behaviour patterns. This combination of Game Theory and Dynamic Causal Mining enables the discovery of hidden strategies, which can be formed as rules governing the Game and to predict future outcomes, which could be significantly affected by present actions.
