Description and Purpose
During Two-Minute Question-Development Talks (TQDTs), student pairs share ideas and information about out-of-class assignments. Their exchange involves two questions: “What was the main thing you learned from the assignment?” “What questions about the assignments do you have?” The pair then develops a single question about the upcoming talk. The exchange requires students to recall prior learning from the assignments, to think more deeply about it by creating questions, and to focus their attention on the topic about to be addressed.
