Description and Purpose
For Guess and Confirm, students anticipate and write down information and key ideas that they expect the professor to cover in a forthcoming lecture. During the lecture, students weigh their expectations against the information the professor actually delivers. Students keep track by marking the information they have correctly identified, recognizing what they expected to hear but didn't, and noting new information that they didn't anticipate.
