Chapter 7: Using SAS Graph Builder to Create Custom Graphs

Introduction

SAS Visual Analytics provides a great deal of customization to the report designer. One example of this customization is the ability to create custom graph templates using SAS Graph Builder and use those templates when building your reports. These templates look and function like other report objects, meaning that you can create numerous templates with special features for showcasing your data. To create a custom graph in SAS Graph Builder, follow five simple steps:

  1. Choose graph elements.
  2. Layout elements.
  3. Configure roles.
  4. Adjust appearance.
  5. Save and use.
