13 Security in MHP and OCAP
Reliability is a key consideration in consumer applications, and MHP and OCAP have a number of security measures to help ensure that applications do not cause problems for the middleware. In this chapter, we look at the security model in MHP and OCAP and see how this affects applications. For application developers and broadcasters, we will discuss how the receiver can authenticate downloaded applications, and how broadcasters can set limits on what an application can do.
