Appendix A DVB Service Information
Service information (SI) is an important part of any DTV network. It carries a wide range of information that is useful to the receiver and to the viewer. This appendix provides an overview of SI in DVB networks, as well as information on the common elements of SI that are also found in other types of networks. The appendix also includes information on the format of SI tables, how the tables are related, and any restrictions these tables impose on receivers.
