Katja Lahikainen, MSc (Economics and Business Administration), works as Project Manager at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), Finland, coordinating various projects related to university–industry collaboration and commercialisation of research outcomes. Since 2015, she has been a PhD student at the LUT School of Business and Management.
Timo Pihkala, PhD, is a Professor of Management and Organisations, specialising in entrepreneurship and small business management. He received his doctorate from the University of Vaasa, Finland. Since 2001 he has been working at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), and he is the academic leader of the entrepreneurship master’s programme at LUT.
