FRT is a powerful diagnostic tool for examining failures in your Web server environment. How do you define a failure in an Internet application? This is more than just a rhetorical question, because FRT gives you the ability to outline your own parameters for what constitutes a failed request. You can define a failed request based on a specific HTTP error status code or range of codes, based on the time the server takes to respond to a request, based on the severity of an event, or based on any combination of these conditions.
