Design Process
Real-world design processes are always messy and opportunistic, often changing direction and iterating many times – and the complexity of the enterprise context doesn't make this any easier. However, there are some activities that occur in any Design project, most of them multiple times. These activities are called phases or steps, even though there are no clear transition points or separations between them, and they usually do not appear in the right order.
