Phone Interviews

Phone interviews are generally semi-structured or structured interviews conducted over the phone or an Internet audio system. Phone interviews are part of most remote collaboration methods. Phone interviews are inexpensive and can be planned quickly, but the lack of visual feedback and a relatively high cognitive load for participants can pose challenges. This chapter provides procedures for planning and conducting phone interview and tips to make phone interviews flow smoothly.
