Effects and Transforms
Aprincipal advantage of JavaFX is its ability to alter the appearance of a node in the scene graph through the application of an effect and/or a transform. Both effects and transforms help give your GUI the sophisticated, modern look that users have come to expect. Furthermore, transforms can be applied to both two-dimensional (2-D) and three-dimensional (3-D) objects, which enables powerful graphics operations, such as changing the size of a button or rotating a cube in space.
