Animation
This chapter introduces one of the most impressive features incorporated into JavaFX: animation. Animation lets you change aspects of a node in the scene graph over a span of time. For example, you can create an animation that moves, resizes, rotates, or scales a node during the execution of a program. Thus, animation enables you to put into motion the transforms discussed in the preceding chapter. You can animate more than just those transforms, however.
