Adding Check Boxes and Option Buttons
Check boxes and option buttons share a common property—they have two states: on (selected) or off (cleared.) Check boxes bind to a single field; multiple option buttons automatically form an InfoPath option (button) group, which also binds to a single field. If you’ve designed Access forms, you’ll find the default behavior of InfoPath’s check boxes and option groups to be almost identical to their Access counterparts.
