Chapter 2. Working in Reason

In this chapter you'll get an overview of the entire Reason program, including all of the components that make up a Reason song. You'll be introduced to all the elements that make up the Reason interface, as well as creating and working with Reason's instruments and effects. Once you have a basic understanding of each of Reason's components, you'll learn how to play and record performances in Reason. You'll also work with Reason's default preferences, first creating settings to be used in this chapter's exercises and then at the end resetting them as needed for the remaining chapters.
