1 Several errors in: exposure, white balance, appearance of image noise or clipping, shutter speed or focus. The size of the shot doesn’t relate well to subject or setting or isn’t sufficient to tell the story. Wide and tight shots don’t match. Too much, too little, or inconsistent headroom or leadroom. Several errors, such as: hot spots or unwanted flare, double shadows, light that falls off too quickly or appears unmotivated. Lighting stands, lamps or cables in shot. The quality (softness or hardness) of the light doesn’t suit the source that is motivating it and the lighting ratio is inappropriate.
