Moving on
Having got this far, we have made a good start with copper cables and we have a foundation to build on, which we can do with little or no effort.
Just like advertisements, if we are exposed to something for long enough it will be absorbed whether we make an effort to learn or not. All we have to do is to make sure we are exposed to it as often as possible. What we need is a constant stream of information, which we can generate by saying ‘yes’ every time there is a chance.
Some things are obvious, like books. A good idea with books is to read them through without worrying too much about the bits that don’t seem to make sense, which may be the majority if it is a new subject. Don’t worry. Just leave it for a month or two, then revisit ...
