3D functionality requires a capable graphics card, and an OS that can support OpenGL, OpenCL, and 3D features.

A good Nvidia Quadro or GeForce graphics/video card is recommended for Adobe applications and will allow you to use all the advanced features in Photoshop.

Note that there are some issues with the functionality of 3D feature in the most recent versions and using these might cause Photoshop to stall or not act as expected. This might affect

  • All interactions in the 3D workspace.
