Photovoltaic System Components II
THIS CHAPTER IS A continuation of the system components discussion in the previous chapter. This chapter focuses on balance-of-system (BOS) equipment. Cable wiring and connection systems are given particular attention. These components are of real interest for safety and performance reasons.
We will provide general and National Electrical Code information. This chapter also provides suggestions on how to design systems with these components. You produce more energy from photovoltaic (PV) systems by reducing losses.
