Requests for Information (RFI) is a document that some companies use to learn more about a product or solution. The information in the RFI helps them select a product that best fits their needs. This appendix contains a list of sample questions you can use if you are preparing an RFI for Intrusion Prevention products. It contains the following sections:
Solution—. Covers, at a high level, the solution the vendor proposes, the components of the solution, how they work together, and so on.
Support—. Inquires about the support offerings available for the solution.
Training—. Discusses any training that might be available for the solution.
