Creating Photographic Evidence Using Conventional Cameras

Select a camera that is easy to operate and if possible, one with which you are familiar. Use a totally automatic camera if nothing else is available. In emergency situations use a single-use (disposable) camera if necessary but remember the optics of these cameras are usually poor and objects shot at less than four feet will likely be out of focus. Consider using a tripod and keep fingers and straps away from the lens and camera face.
