Silver is hands-down my favourite precious metal (this is coauthor Paul). Maybe it’s because it’s more affordable than gold. Maybe it’s because I like the color better. Oh wait … now I remember: When I buy my wife silver jewelry instead of gold, I still have some cash left to buy something for my boys! Well, really … I like silver most because of the great profit potential that I think it will generate. It has served me well in recent years and there is no reason why that shouldn’t continue (and get better!) in the coming years. I think devoting a whole chapter to the poor man’s gold is a good idea. Silver’s future profit potential is truly its silver lining (you were expecting that line … right?).
