I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Investors
Who are today's investors in alternative energies, such as wind farms or hydroelectricity projects? Investors are varied and global. Today, everything from insurance companies, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds will invest in energy projects. These investors will invest in infrastructure projects and alternative energy initiatives, as well as the more traditional form of bond or equity issuances.
In addition, hedge funds and private equity funds are actively investing in the energy sector. Hedge funds may take on somewhat passive investment roles, by purchasing the equities or bond issuances of both established and newer energy companies.
