You’ve seen how to use iPhone Configuration Utility (iPCU) and OS X Server 10.7’s Profile Manager tools to distribute profiles via USB connection and email. But “real” over-the-air, or OTA, is the cool (and best) way to distribute profiles for a couple reasons.

First, you don’t have to do all the work yourself. Set up your OTA implementation, and unless you need to change configurations, you’re finished. Everything else is done by the user.
