Touchscreens are certainly much more commonplace than they were a few years ago, but even with their mainstream adoption there is still a lack of understanding as to how to properly account for the physical interaction with these devices. There are many apps out there that have very cool features, but which are so poorly designed from an ergonomic perspective that it astounds me.
