Multicast Design Solutions

The previous chapters of this book discuss some rather advanced types of multicast networks. Typically, as the requirements of a network grow in complexity, so do the number and type of protocols needed to meet those requirements. The chapters so far in this book and IP Multicast, Volume 1 have provided the tools needed to meet most of these requirements. However, there are some additional elements to consider when designing complex multicast networks.
