Appendix C. Installing a Unity Express AIM in a 2811 Router

This lab works with other routers, but the placement of the Advanced Integration Module (AIM) is specific for a 2811 series router. If you have another type of router, you can use this lab, but it is recommended that you go to Cisco.com and locate the AIM installation procedure for your specific router model.

Cover Removal

The hardest part of this lab is removing the router cover. Four screws hold the cover in place. Ensure that the router is powered off and unplugged.
