If you’ve had your iPhone or iPad for a while and it’s currently running an older version of the iOS operating system, such as iOS 5.1, now that Apple has made the iOS 6 operating system available, you’ll definitely want to upgrade your device. Keep in mind that some of the very early iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models cannot be upgraded to iOS 6.
