Recording your audio isn’t just about the best apps and recording equipment you can afford (and the inspiration to actually create the songs, of course). You need to hear the audio during and after the recording to make sure you get everything recorded correctly. The “during” part of recording helps you make sure that everybody who is recording tracks (even if it’s just you) stays in time and tempo with the backing tracks and doesn’t get too loud or too soft. The “after” part lets you mix and master the audio properly so others can share in your recordings.
