As I discuss at length in Part 4, your iPad is a solid work device that can manage your contacts, keep track of your appointments, and direct you to your next meeting. However, if you believe that all work and no play make Jack and Jill a dull couple, there's no need to put away your tablet. Why not? Because your iPad is loaded with apps that fall on the “play” side of the ledger. These apps enable you to have loads of fun by turning your iPad into a multifaceted multimedia device.
If you're into music, for example, you can get your fill of everyone from Adele to ZZ Top by using the Music app, which gives you access to not only your own music library but also the seemingly infinite supply of tunes offered by the Apple Music subscription service. E-book nerds, too, have a home on the iPad: the Books app, which enables you to read almost any available book from the comfort of your tablet.
