With its gorgeous screen, iPad is a natural for viewing photos. iPad supports most common photo formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and GIF. You can get your photos from your computer, iPhone, or digital camera. You can also save images you find online to your iPad.

When you have photos to play with, the Photos app allows you to view them in albums, one-by-one, or in a slideshow. You can also e-mail a photo to a friend or use your expensive gadget as an electronic picture frame, all of which you read about in this chapter.
