In this chapter, I show you around the iOS Photos app, which is the home of your photo-editing tools.

Remember Please keep in mind that at the time of this writing, the 11 series iPhones have a different look and set of options than some earlier model iPhones. If you’re using an earlier model iPhone, most of what you encounter in this chapter is still applicable to you. However, a few added features are accessible only with later series iPhones.

Opening Your Photos App

When new iPhone photographers take their first photo, they often access their photos directly from their iPhone’s Camera app. However, when you’re not taking pictures, you can access your photo collection faster using the iOS app called Photos.
