Chapter 3. Using Your iPhone as a PDA
Your iPhone can be used for many different purposes, including as a cell phone, a music player, a video player, and web browser. In addition, it can act as a personal digital assistant, or PDA. You can use it to store information about your contacts as well as to maintain a calendar.
Depending on what type of contacts-management and calendar programs you use on your computer, you may be able to sync, or copy, the contacts and calendar entries that you maintain on your computer to your iPhone.
