A Smart Home is not a home that does calculus problems for fun, nor does it play chess with other homes in the neighbourhood.

A Smart Home is a digitally automated living environment (a house) that can make your life more convenient. A Smart Home can allow the different parts of a home or devices in a home to be controlled remotely. Or better yet, the Smart Home can automatically respond to persons living in it, as if they were living inside an automated robot-butler that is very attentive to their needs.
