Below are descriptions of the iSCSI PDUs. Unlike the iSCSI IETF specification, all these PDUs are arranged in alphabetical order. Though much of this information has been taken directly from the IETF iSCSI standard track drafts, it includes additional information that might be useful for implementations or that might help the reader better understand the various functions, values, or settings. But unlike the iSCSI IETF specification, all the fields in the PDUs that are shown here, are also described
In the descriptions, as in all things in this book, the official IETF iSCSI drafts are the last word on any differences between it and what is written here.
