Working Solo as a Designer
At the conclusion of this chapter, you should be able to
identify several roles that the solo designer will have to fill
construct at least three strategies to assist you when working as a solo designer.
There are as many environments in which instructional designers might find themselves as there are designers. One of the realities of instructional design is the fact that designers often find themselves working as a committee of one in the design process, being a SME, material development specialist, project manager, and every other role possible in the design process. Additionally, a designer may even have to implement his or her own designs.
