7.1 Resources
It will come as no surprise that a BCMS, as with any other significant business project, requires resources both before and during implementation, and a commitment to maintain and improve it. Yet, all too often, management systems are hamstrung by a lack of appropriate resources, no doubt contributing to the horror stories of management system projects going off the rails and over-budget that are familiar to many senior leaders.
