HOW QUALITY HELPS DURING A PRODUCT'S LIFE CYCLE

In the previous chapters we learnt how to produce a correctly structured Quality Management System (QMS) and in Chapter 5 we saw the requirements that this QMS would have to meet. However, you may well still be saying, that is all well and good, but how will it help me improve quality in my organisation?

In this chapter we will look at all the areas that can be influenced by quality during the life of a product. This will clearly show even the most cynical of readers that there is no part of a business that cannot be improved by incorporating quality into your management system.
