WHO CONTROLS QUALITY IN AN ORGANISATION? |
Do not think for one minute that quality is the sole responsibility of the Quality Manager. You would even be wrong to think that the buck stops with senior management. Why not the staff? After all, they are responsible for physically incorporating quality into a product. Some may even foolishly say that the Quality Manual sitting on the shelf is the only control they need. The answer to who controls quality is very simple. Everyone and everything within an organisation has a part to play.
So what responsibilities do each of these groups of people have?
