| Q1: | I don't have the time or the resources to implement all the processes you recommend. Which ones are the most critical? |
| A1: | This is another one of those "it depends" answers. It depends on the strengths and weaknesses of your data center environment. However, I can offer some clues. In my experience, certain components seem to be consistently problematic or critical for enhancement. Among the technical architecture components, these include Performance Monitoring/Capacity Planning and the relationship between Scheduling and Event Monitoring. Among the process architecture components, Production Acceptance, Problem Management, and Change Management consistently require extensive enhancement and automation.
