This chapter does not contain a primer on project planning and management. However, by way of review, your project plan should contain the following components at a minimum:
Tasks: steps required to deliver the milestone.
Timeline: deadlines associated with tasks and milestones.
Dependencies: sequencing and relationship between milestones and tasks.
Risks and Contingencies: identification of risks and mitigating factors.
Resource Allocations: staff requirements and time required to complete tasks.
Budget: cost of the project, including staffing, product purchasing, deployment, administration, etc.
