The Industry Problem

Most IT organizations struggle with the implementation and support of client/server technology. They focus on developing and deploying applications as quickly as possible, not to mention buying up system management tools. Very little emphasis is placed on people and process issues for the network, data center, and desktop. This lack of attention for dealing with people and process issues is the largest problem in the Enterprise today.

People and process issues within IT have been around for decades but it was pretty much contained in one glass house environment. Unless organizations address these issues, networked computing will not flourish and that's putting it mildly. To elaborate on people and process issues:
