The HP-UX Operating System and PA-RISC Architecture
HP-UX 11i is the latest version of the Unix[26]-based operating system released by Hewlett-Packard. It's an industrial-strength operating system that is well regarded for keeping its UNIX roots in its high level of robustness and extending the basic System V capabilities.

HP-UX 11i is based on the prior incarnation of HP-UX, version 11.00.
