Economic downturns can bring an almost unbearable level of pain, hardship, and disappointment for many investors. When there’s a crisis or the bursting of a bubble, everyone in the vicinity is affected. It’s difficult to accept failure at such a grand level. And it’s almost impossible to accept the thought that something so overwhelming and terrible could happen to any of us. Failure hurts. But failure can pay off significantly in learning, growth, and wisdom. We’ve all made mistakes, and we’ve paid the price. Now where can we go from here?
